Senior Pastor
ALLEN CROSBY Allen was born and raised in the great state of Georgia. He trusted Christ as his Savior early in life and later surrendered to the gospel ministry. Allen went to college at Luther Rice University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies. He furthered his education at New Orleans Theological Seminary and plans to finish at South Western Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth Texas. Allen and his wife Marcia served in several churches around the Atlanta area before moving to Jewett, Texas in July 2016. Allen and Marcia have three grown children who are married. Two of those children live in Texas with their families; the youngest and her husband are completing studies in Georgia. Allen enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and spending time with his family. Worship Pastor
Kevin Butler Kevin has lived his whole life in Texas, most of it in the Houston area. Following God’s call to vocational ministry, Kevin attended Truett Seminary in Waco where he earned two Masters degrees in 2002: a Masters of Music and a Masters of Divinity. Kevin has a passion for music and worship and loves to sing and play the keyboard. He and his wife Cynthia sing together and have written several songs separately and together and are excited that their daughter Maranatha has also shown an interest in music. In August of 2014, God led Kevin to First Baptist Jewett where he has served as our worship minister ever since. Kevin wants to lead a life that pursues God and demonstrates to others how to worship God not just in a church service but in the entirety of our lives. Youth Pastor
Caleb DeLeon Caleb is a born and raised Texas native from Bryan-College Station. Christ had changed Caleb’s life in his youth and later ignited a calling to pursue vocational youth ministry. Pursuing the calling from God, Caleb attended Dallas Baptist University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education. Caleb has a passion for investing in youth and showing them the love that God provides and how he cares for them. Before serving at First Baptist Jewett, Caleb had volunteered in a variety of ministries in the Dallas Metroplex area by volunteering to help spread the message of God to those around him. In the Fall of 2022, God guided Caleb towards First Baptist Jewett where he now serves as the youth minister. Caleb aspires to pour into the youth about God and help them with their personal relationships with Him in any way that he can. Apart from serving in the youth, Caleb enjoys playing a variety of games, expanding his culinary knowledge, and spending time with those he holds close.
